My Travel – Peru 🇵🇪

Machu Picchu, 2012 Trip – Like many other tourist I was drawn to the breath taking scenery of the Andes and the ancient Ruins @ 7,972 feet high.  The best way to reach Machu Picchu is by walking the Inca Trail; a faster way ( if limmited by time like I was ) is by taking the Andes train from Cusco to Machu Picchu Pueblo ( Aguas Calientes ). The majority of the tourist activities involve exploring archaeological sites, the most popular being the Inca Trail. Most hikers leave from the outskirts of Cusco and descend stone steps to the trail, which passes thru various ancient sites, culminating at the zenith, Matchu Picchu.

I was lucky to do some shopping in Cusco and in Lima before my departure; browsing at the local markets at Alpaca sweaters, Andean hats, ponchos, pan flutes and Indian crafts like figurines and much more.

Thou its been a few years now, I still can’t quite describe the feeling of wow while visiting this amazing place. In short – Majestic!
